Christian Motorcycle Association
CMA is a group of Christian bikers who are dedicated to serving Jesus on the highways and byways through motorcycling. The group has regular planned meetings and fellowship in addition to rides. CMA is located in Antioch, CA and serves East Contra Costa County in the SF Bay Area. People who are interested in joining the “Mounted Ministry” can visit any of the organized chapter meetings, rides or events.
Delta Wings MC
Delta Wings is a chapter of the Gold Wing Road Riders Assoc. Based in the Concord/Antioch area of California. Meetings are held monthly and rides are organized regularly. Gold Wing Road Riders Association is an organization for owners/riders of Honda Gold Wing/Valkyrie motorcycles. GWRRA is a not-for-profit, non-religious and non-political organization. Charities supported include toys to ill children, visits to nursing homes and homeless shelters.
Club Desmo (also known as The Track Club) is an Los Altos, CA based organizer of rides at various tracks in CA including Northern California’s Thunderhill, Sears Point near Sonoma and Laguna Seca near Monterey. Dangerous Curves is a non-brand specific women’s motorcycle club with members all over the greater SF Bay Area. Meetings are held quarterly and events and rides occur several times a month. There are usually two fundraisers a year that benefit women & children’s organizations. Women riders can join after qualifying and can then sponsor men to become affiliate members – see website for details.
Devil Dolls Motorcycle Club
The Devil Dolls is a motorcycle club for empowered women which encourages women to be who they want to be. Traditionally a Harley club, DD now welcomes other makers as well. The membership is diverse and new members are considered on a case-by-case basis via email website. Charity benefits change each year.
Dharma Bums Motorcycle Club
Dharma Bums is a relatively new MC in the San Francisco Bay Area. The dharma of Buddhism, Hinduism, or the principles that govern the universe are the basis of this riding club. All are welcome to wither join or to ride along. Go to the Yahoo! group to find out more and join the group.
Disciple Motorcycle Ministry Club

Dykes on Bikes ®
The San Francisco chapter of Dykes on Bikes® strives to cultivate an empowering culture for the Bay Area’s lesbian, bisexual, transgender women motorcyclists and friends of those motorcyclists. Various charitable and educational events are organized throughout the year. Women are only considered for membership after attending six consecutive bi-weekly meetings.
Honda Rider’s Club of America-South Bay Chapter
Low Altitude Pilots
This group of riders based north of San Francisco Bay call themselves pilots and have the motto “Be fast. Stay humble.” Anyone can ride with the group, but becoming a member costs a modest fee to help maintain the website. The website has some photos and a discussion forum and is also where some rides are organized.
Montgomery Street Motorcycle Club
San Francisco Bay Area based Montgomery Street Motorcycle Club is open to both men and women who tend to be business professionals. Only 40 people can be members at one time, so the wait can be as lengthy as the rides, which are often to destinations relatively far from the Bay Area. The quality of overnight accommodations and food explains the membership pricetag.
Mt. Diablo HOG
Mount Diablo HOG is a chapter of the National HOG (Harley Owners Group) and is based out of Walnut Creek, CA. Members participate in events and charitable endeavors as well as the rides. Membership meetings happen at 7pm on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Membership in the International HOG is required to join a local Chapter
Out of the Ashes MC Club
Out of the Ashes Motorcycle Club is based out of the town of Novato just north of the San Francisco Bay. Clean and sober annual events and charitable endeavors are the backbone of this group. Over the Hill Gang
OTHG is a group of racers who love the sport of motocross. Men 30 years of age or older and women 25 and older can join. Any new member’s skill level must be evaluated prior to eligibility. Well established Raw Silk MC is a women’s motorcycle club based out of the SF Bay Area. The clean and sober club is relatively small, but members current or retired create a strong sisterhood. Skyline Riders Club

Sport Touring Riders
Members of the Sport Touring Riders are primarily based in the San Francisco East Bay, but the rides happen all over the Bay Area. Rides are not based on membership, but on the idea that you are sharing the passion for the road with the other members. Anyone can ride and no dues are ever collected.
Ton up NorCal
Ton Up NorCal is an affiliate of the Ton Up Club, whose philosophy is that classic bikes should be ridden as well as a strong Rockabilly influence. (The Wild One, anyone?) Café racers or bikes built like a café racer are the requirement, no cruisers. Riding is the M.O., not meetings.
The Breakfast Club
Riding since 1949, The Sunday Morning Breakfast Club is mostly just about the rides, not so much about the club. Rides start early Sunday mornings. Bay Area based motorcycle riding group Motogirlies is open to all bikes and skill levels. Though open to all genders, the group supports and promotes women riders. The Hooligans Motorcycle Club is based out of Modesto, CA in the central valley. Bike Night happens every Wednesday at 6:45pm in downtown Modesto. 3rd Legacy Motorcycle club’s motto is “Easy Duz It.” This perfectly describes this Concord, CA based club’s promotion of sane and sober attitudes and anti-addiction promotion. Dirty Dogs Motorcycle Club
Although DDMC has members that have moved to other states, the club is primarily based out of Contra Costa County CA along the Interstate 680 corridor. The club is comprised of both ex-military and civilian riders, and participates in back road self RC’d weekend and long haul rides as well as Patriot Guard and charity rides.
Star Touring & Riding Association, Chapter 186
Star Touring and Riding Association is a national organization of family-oriented, friendly motorcycle riders. Contra Costa County is the home base for chapter 186. All makes and models of bikes are welcome. Safe, stress-free rides are what they strive for as well as fun and camaraderie. Survivors MC Club
The Survivors Motorcycle Club is San Francisco based clean and sober MC dedicated ride the highways and enjoy rides without substance abuse. Members must be voluntarily attending recovery meetings or other programs. Interested parties must go to the Survivors MC meetings (first and third Thursdays at 6:3pm) to be considered for membership.
530 Riders was organized to bring together the riding community of Davis and, of course, the 530 area code. Any make or model of bike is welcome as is any skill level. To join the group, a person just needs to Join one of the organized rides by signing up through the website.
Gold Wing Road Rider Association-CA2Q
The Gold Wing Road Riders Association chapter CA2Q is an organization for people who ride and own Honda Gold Wing/Valkyrie bikes. The group is non-religious and non-political. B.A.D. Motorcycle Club
B.A.D. promotes clean and sober riding. Based in the San Francisco East Bay, members come together in fellowship to enjoy the road. B.A.D. meets weekly and rides to NA & AA meetings, eat out, play pool, go on runs and participate in other activities that our members enjoy. Interested clean and sober individuals can join the ring by submitting name at the website.
Southern Cruisers Riding Club
The Diablo Chapter of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club is non-discriminatory when it comes to makes and models of bikes; all are welcome. Respect of others is a hard and fast rule of the Club. Attendance is not required at the meetings and no fees or dues are required either.
Elk Grove HOG
Elk Grove HOG is a chapter of the National HOG (Harley Owners Group) and is based out of the Elk Grove, CA east of Sacramento. Members participate in events and charitable endeavors as well as the rides. A valid National HOG number is required for membership in the South Bay chapter. Membership meetings are held the third Wednesday of every month in Elk Grove.
Lost Coast Survivors MC Club
Lost Coast Survivor’s MC is a family-oriented club whose members must be at least 18 years old and must be recommended by a current LCS patch-holder in good standing. Gold Wing Road Rider Association-CA2K
The Gold Wing Road Riders Association chapter CA2K is an organization for people who ride and own Honda Gold Wing/Valkyrie bikes. The group is non-religious and non-political. The Fairfield chapter of the GWRRA is based in Fairfield, CA. Members meet in Fairfield on the fourth Sunday of each month for breakfast and a ride. Sierra Road Riders Association
Fairfield, CA based Sierra Road Riders Association’s purpose is to cultivate and encourage not only the sport of motorcycling, but also to organize and encourage rides and motorcycle camaraderie. The group has been around since 1968 and members ride throughout northern California and western Nevada. There is also an extensive calendar of other group activities as well. The Breakfast Riders requires no membership, but provides a newsletter to those signed up. Rides are open to anyone with any type of bike and there are no fees or dues. Charities supported include Ride-4-Kids, Toys for Tots and Sierra Hope. Ride information, history, and a calendar can all be found online.
Freedom Cruisers Folsom Chapter is a family-oriented club with no initiation fees or dues and no required meetings to go to. They do not discriminate against bike-types and believe in freedom for its members. Camping trips, rides and fun are all part of the group’s philosophy. The group is open to people starting up chapters in their own areas.
Gold Country Dual Sport Riders
Gold Country Dual Sport Riders primarily tours the California gold country. Their rides are scheduled roughly once a month and they ride on both paved roads as well as dirt. Most people in the group are dual sport enthusiasts, but no motorcycle is unwelcome, as long as the person is willing to take it off the paved road and onto a trail. Rides usually begin in Folsom, CA and anyone is welcome, as there are no dues, meetings, or fees to join.
Folsom HOG is a chapter of the National HOG (Harley Owners Group) and is based out of the Folsom, CA northeast of Sacramento. Members participate in events and charitable endeavors as well as the rides. A valid National HOG number is required for membership in the Folsom chapter. Membership meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month in either Folsom or a surrounding town.
Blacktop Knights MC Inc.
Sanctioned by the AMA, Blacktop Knights MC is a group that promotes motorcycling in the in a positive light. Blacktop Knights participate in various charity events and involves themselves in the community. Group meets Hercules, CA on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings. Sunday morning rides tend to be long rides. Membership is open to owners of all makes of bikes but riders must by 18 years of age or older.
Viet Nam Vets Motorcycle Club
The Viet Nam Vets Motorcycle Club Freedom chapter is a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who are veterans of the Vietnam War. Veteran awareness events are organized and respect of the soldiers past and present is compulsory. To become a member, check the website or get to know a local member. Rides and events are regularly scheduled through the website.
Temple Riders Association
The Temple Riders Association is a Mormon-oriented group with chaptersall over the U.S. and beyond. Though LDS membership is not required for the Gilroy chapter, Church standards are upheld. Make and model of bikes are not discriminated against. Rides are often organized to see Mormon temples, but that is not the only destination. Rising Sons MC Club
Started in Hayward, California in the early 90s, the Rising Sons Motorcycle Club is all about racing motorcycles. The home raceway is Sears Point (Infineon) near Sonoma County. The club tries to attend as many races as possible in the area and sometimes organize participation in races in other areas as well. For more information email email@example.com
She Devils MC USA
The She Devil Motorcycle Club is a sisterhood of women riders based in Hayward, CA (though now there are members all over the San Francisco Bay Area. The club goes to many club functions (theirs and others) for camaraderie and also to support charity events. Only people who are recommended by other She Devils may join the motorcycle club, so attendance at events is necessary.
Top Hatters Motorcycle Club
The Hollister chapter of the Top Hatters Motorcycle Club (THMC) motorcycle club is one of five California-based chapters. Members are only Harley riders and no other bikes are allowed. The group has been together for 60 or so years and is well-established. It is more of a brotherhood club than a social club and membership is by invitation only. There is an annual event called the “Bike Blessing” that benefits a charity of the club’s choice.

Started in 1982, the Ghost Mountain Riders Motorcycle Club has grown to three chapters; one is in San Jose, one in Lompico and one is a nomadic group. The club’s runs create enthusiasm for the club and generate a lot of money for the charities of their choosing. Membership is by invitation only.
The Classic Japanese Motorcycle Club is dedicated to preserving early Japanese manufactured motorcycles. The network of club members is a great resource to find parts and information and to also a great place to find friends to ride with. In July the CJMC hold a show and swap in Auburn, CA. North Bay Sportriders
North Bay Sportsriders is an online forum for people who want to improve their riding skills and connect with people who want to do the same. To join the group you must receive an invitation from someone who is already in the group. The How to Join link on the website gives some ideas on how to meet current members.
Yuba Sutter Sportbike Club
Yuba Sutter Sportbike Club was started for people who want to meet others with the same interest as them – to meet other people who want to ride their sport bikes in the Yuba Sutter area and other areas of northern California. The club organizes rides and other events and the online forum is a source for tips and tricks for the sport bike enthusiast.

The Monterey Bay BMW Riders Motorcycle Club is not only for owners/riders of BMW motorcycles, but most of the members are active riders. The State of Jefferson Motorcycle Club bases their ideals on the State of Jefferson movement. Originally started in Happy Camp, CA, there are now chapters in Yreka, Redding, Modoc and Rouge-Medford. The Wildbunch Forever
The Wildbunch Forever Brotherhood Motorcycle Club based out of Northern California is a mixed race club with ideals based on diversity and freedom. Only men may join this club, but women are allowed at some functions if they are with a man. Membership is by invitation only.
California Honda Sport Touring Association
Honda Sport Touring Association (HSTA) is a national organization with chapters in both southern and northern California. Despite the name, the group is open to all makes and models of touring bikes. Various rides and events are hosted throughout the year and membership is only a completed form away (which can be found at the website).
C.R.O.S.S. Motorcycle Club & Ministries
CROSS MC Ministries is a Christian-based MC based out of northern and southern California. Members work with local churches and other Christian MCs. Members do not have to ride or own bikes, but rides are organized as well as events and fellowship. Community service is also organized. Oakland Motorcycle Club
Oakland and Bay area-based Oakland Motorcycle Club is a non-discriminatory club when it comes to the motorcycles allowed. Most rides start in the San Francisco Bay area. Biker Dogs Motorcycle Club
Located on three continents, Biker Dogs Motorcycle Club’s membership is open to both humans and canines alike. Founded in Oakland, CA, the club now has man and beast membership in the U.S., Canada, Japan, Sweden, United Kingdom, Italy and Belgium. East Bay Rats
The East Bay Rats Motorcycle Club is not only a place to find other motorcycle riders, but also a place to find boxers. Fight Nights are scheduled and sometimes documented by educational cable channels. Based in Oakland, CA this biking and boxing club is not for the lighthearted or thin-skinned. Los Carnales Motorcycle Club
The national Los Carnales Motorcycle club was started to provide a social and brotherhood community for retired or active law enforcement officers. The Oakland chapter, along with the other chapters, only ride Harley-Davidson or other American-made motorcycles. Improving motorcycling’s public image through service to the community and conduct is high on the agenda. Meetings are half the first Friday of each month in Oakland.
Most Wanted MC Club
Oakland, Califonia-based Most Wanted Motorcycle Club is a female motorcycle club dedicated to breaking the common misconceptions about female riders. Oakland Stroke Motorcycle Club is an exclusive motorcycle club that emphasizes the brotherhood and friendship ties between serious motorcycle enthusiasts (especially modified Harleys). Queens Together Motorcycle Club is the west coast daughter of east coast Queens Together Making Changes. The group is comprised of women who believe in riding, and loyalty and respect for their sisters. Road House Monkeys
Known as an “Un-Club,” the Roadhouse Monkeys aren’t a formal club with dues, membership, or politics. The website provides a forum for people who enjoy riding and talking rides. There is a volunteer staff in three sites in central and northern California that help facilitate the forum. The Un-club was formed in Oakland, CA. West Coast Blue Meanies
Based out of Oakland, CA the West Coast Blue Meanies aren’t affiliated with any other groups, they don’t help any causes, aren’t a social club and won’t describe what their club is. The Blue Meanies do ride motorcycles, booze it up and want you to buy their swag. The Blue Meanies don’t apologize for any of the above.
West Coast OG Riders MC
The West Coast Riderz Motorcycle Club has three northern California chapters; Modesto, Stockton, and Oakland. The original was established in Stockton. The WCOGRMC is an exclusive motorcycle club that emphasizes the ties of brotherhood and friendship between serious motorcycle enthusiasts. Membership is by invitation only. Wolfpack Motorcycle Club
Existing on the principals of “Old school values, new world attitudes,” the Wolf Pack Motorcycle Club is dedicated to a diverse club population, in the truest meaning of the word diverse; everyone is welcome to apply for membership and all bikes are accepted. There are three California chapters: Oakland, Gold Country and San Diego. Membership is by invitation only.
Heavy Hitters MC
Heavy Hitters MC is based in Pittsburg, CA, but has a second chapter that rides out of Oakland. Most of members ride Harleys, but all cruisers are welcome. Heavy Hitters are a multiracial group that doesn’t make an issue out of race, color or background. Parties are open, but meetings and get-togethers are by invitation only. MotoPARS club is a sport touring group for people with a Persian background who like to learn about riding and who like to ride. The motorcycles ridden are sport/touring bikes and the rides tend to be long. Rides and events are organized through the message group. Membership information and inquiries about the club can be made through the message group.

Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club
Originally called the Buffalo Troupers, the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club was established to positively promote a motorcycle club among Blacks – throughout both the community and the country. The charter club was in Illinois, but it has since grown to have many chapters; two chapters in northern California (Sacramento and the East Bay) and one in southern California (San Diego). BMW Norcal Club
The BMW Club of Northern California is a group for BMW motorcycle enthusiasts in Northern California. The Chrome Divas is a ladies-only group originating in Florida. California has four chapters: Central, Southern, Inland Empire and the Sierra Foothills. Formed to allow camaraderie and community participation between members the Chrome Divas are not a motorcycle club, just a group of women who like motorcycles and like to commune with other women who do as well. The Sierra Mountains chapter of the Top Hatters Motorcycle Club (THMC) motorcycle club is one of five California-based chapters. Members are only Harley riders and no other bikes are allowed. The group has been together for 60 or so years and is well-established. It is more of a brotherhood club than a social club and membership is by invitation only. There is an annual event called the “Bike Blessing” that benefits a charity of the club’s choice.
